Copywriting

Since 2001, I’ve worked full time as a freelance copywriter.  While I’ve written material for everything from flavored vodka to bulk recycled paper, my wheelhouse continues to be where I started: telecom, data networking, and related service areas.

My strongest content type areas are case studies, white papers, and blog content, but I’m also experienced with brochure copy, email marketing, and most other business communications.

Here are a few of the things I’ve written for my clients.  For more information, please contact and ask – I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.

Portfolios (PDF):

Load Bearing Creative (2010-present).  This is a collection of writing samples from copywriting work I’ve done in Decade Two, primarily under the banner of Load Bearing Creative.  I have since resumed a more writing-centric freelance life, so the LBC-related business details are a bit out of date.  But this portfolio covers a lot of my work for large technology corporations, including Intel and VMware.

Just a New Year's reminder: In 2030, everything you're outraged by today will seem quaint and naively charming in retrospect, like a simple child's fever dream. Things will be far weirder.

That feeling when the thing you've been worrying about doesn't happen, but you've been busy playing out the stress events in your head, so it may as well HAVE had happened, because you've given yourself all the psychic baggage anyway. Ugh.

As someone who makes a lot of Korean food, this is the best method for getting garlic peeled!
